I learned today that a wonderful man that I know was persuaded to see his cardiologist simply from me telling him about my dad's experience. He had not been feeling "right" for some time yet his stress tests had been normal. After hearing my dad's story he went back to his cardiologist who performed an angiogram. He had two arteries 98% blocked which required stints. The doctor told him that he had been in severe danger of a massive heart attack.
"Thanks to your dad for saving my life." he said. Even after his passing my dad continues to be a hero like always. I miss him dearly, but I know he's smiling right now.
